  Hey Katherine, when you went to NYC, were you able to bring back a lot of stuff without much trouble? You see, I'm going to the US next year, and planning on doing a lot of shopping (particularly clothes) but I'm worried that I won't be able to fit much stuff considering the 23kg baggage weight limit. Did you encounter any problems?

  I went over with 22kg of check-in luggage and only about 3kg of carry-on. I had no intention of shopping up large so didn’t leave space in my bags or anything. I was overweight on the way back because I bought a laptop and a couple of things for friends. It was going to cost me US$90 but I repacked and it was fine. I would suggest packing super, super light.
