  hi! ive been following your blog since you started running it and i know you studied design. im real interested in it. could you tell me where you studied and what kind of work you got after? what were your first jobs like straight out of uni? is this a good career path? thanks heaps this will help me alot! x

  Hi there. I have a Bachelor of Art and Design from A.U.T. If I’m being completely honest, I wasn’t exactly the best student out there. I worked retail part-time while I was at Uni, and for about 6 months after. I did some small freelance jobs, I did a little bit of work for a local printer/copy centre. Then I got a job as a designer (mainly print) at a digital agency. 

  I’m pretty sure, now, there’s a bit of an influx of people wanting to be Graphic Designers. In my opinion, it’s an oversaturated market. But with anything, if you’re good at it and you’re good at networking, you can do anything.
